 Cádiz
Cadiz, set on a narrow isthmus, is one of the oldest cities
in Spain. Founded by the Phoenicians, it has a marked southern
air about it, with whitewashed houses and subtropical vegetation.
La Costa de la Luz (Coast of Light) forms the Andalucian Atlantic
shore in the provinces of Cadiz and Huelva. Its most important
tourist centres are Barbate, Algeciras, Tarifa, Conil de la
Frontera, Chiclana de la Frontera, Cadiz, El Puerto de Santa
Maria, Rota, Chipiona, Sanlucar de Barrameda, Torrre de Higuera,
Mazagon, Punta Unbria, El Rompido, antilla and Isla Cristina.
